The Galloway School is seeking a committed, experienced educator to join our team as a Fourth Grade Teacher beginning August 2025.

As a Fourth Grade Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering curriculum in core subjects, with a focus on developing students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Through engaging and differentiated learning experiences, you will challenge students based on their individual needs, encouraging growth and a deeper understanding of concepts. This curriculum is designed to expand students' knowledge through research, real-world application, and relevant connections to their everyday experiences.

Core subjects will be taught within a workshop model, utilizing an advanced curriculum that integrates technological skills, project-based activities, and STEM challenges. These methods foster discovery and exploratory learning, while promoting collaboration and student-centered development of ideas and solutions.

Each teacher is an integral part of the Upper School team that plans and works closely together.

Successful candidates will be those who demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a love for working with 9- and 10-year-olds, coupled with a deep understanding of the developmental needs of this age group. They will model a Christ-centered life, possess strong content knowledge in core subjects, and have the ability to teach at an advanced level while integrating high-order thinking skills into their instruction.
